I’m Casandra, an art director from RI.
As a child, I had a serious flair for fashion. I loved picking out my outfits and was a little too excited to get glasses (just another accessory, in my mind!). Later in life, I discovered my passion for graphic design — but I like to think it all began with finding the perfect barrette/bangles combination back in the day. I’ve been following my creative instincts ever since.
Today, my sense of design leans toward clean and modern, with a strong emphasis on typography. I’m a sucker for a well-kerned headline and have a font collection that deserves its own hard drive. To me, good design is not only visually interesting, but also clearly communicates the message at hand — that’s what it’s all about, right?
When I’m not working, I like to get outside, hang with my Boston terrier, Sammy, sip on an iced coffee, or jam out to anything with a good beat. OK, I do those last two when I’m working, too.
